NHS Improvement is responsible for overseeing foundation trusts, NHS trusts and independent providers. We offer the support these providers need to give patients consistently safe, high quality, compassionate care within local health systems that are financially sustainable. By holding providers to account and, where necessary, intervening, we help the NHS to meet its short-term challenges and secure its future.

NHS Improvement is the operational name for the organisation that brings together Monitor, NHS Trust Development Authority, Patient Safety, the National Reporting and Learning System, the Advancing Change team and the Intensive Support Teams.

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced and enthusiastic Senior Workforce Information Analyst to join our innovative Workforce Intelligence Unit at NHS Improvement based in Derby or London.

The Senior Workforce information analyst will develop, implement and maintain systems to ensure the efficient and effective collection and presentation of workforce data and wider business intelligence. It will also involve being responsible for the interpretation and presentation of workforce performance information and providing  workforce analysis, insights and commentary to key internal clients to support recommendations and decision making around workforce support and policy.

The post is offered on a Fixed term / Secondment until 31st March 2019.

Only those applicants who demonstrate clearly how they meet our Person Specification will be shortlisted for interview.

In the event of exceptionally high levels of response, we reserve the right to close the post before the date stated in order to prevent the number of applications received being unmanageable. You are advised to submit your completed application as soon as possible to have the best chance of being considered.

If you are short listed for interview you will be contacted by the Employment Services Team via your NHS Jobs account, please ensure you check your NHS Jobs account and your e-mail account on a regular basis.

Interviews will take place on the 26th /27th March 2018
