NHS Improvement is responsible for overseeing foundation trusts, NHS trusts and independent providers. NHS Improvement is the operational name for the organisation that brings together Monitor, NHS Trust Development Authority, Patient Safety, the National Reporting and Learning System, the Advancing Change team and the Intensive Support Teams.
The Head of Programme delivery will be responsible for the IT NHSE/I system work. To start scoping and delivering solutions to enable collaborative working and business continuity for both NHS Improvement and NHS England.
The Head of Programme Delivery will be responsible for leading the delivery of the BST programme and NHSE/I. The post-holder will be expected to manage the relationships of Senior stakeholders (internally & externally) and ensure effective communication of programme progress is shared between the project team and the business. Provide vision and insight into the future operating model for IT Services & Operations team and the harmonisation of NHSI systems. To oversee the successful implementation of the Agile approach. The post-holder is expected to manage the organisation through this system transformation programme and also ensure compliance to GDPR and NHSI policies/procedures.
