The Demand and Capacity Programme Team is looking for an analyst to work as part of and support a dynamic team in delivering an effective service to clinicians, managers and staff across the NHS, for both providers and commissioners, and ALBs to embed the required skills and competencies in local health economies to undertake Demand and Capacity Planning to support planning and operational delivery.

The post holder will have good management, planning and organisation skills and be able to prioritise the delivery of work. They will have good communications skills, both orally and in writing, be able to obtain and evaluate information to support decision-making, have the ability to establish constructive working relationships with a range of stakeholders and have the willingness to work flexibly across the team.

In particular the post holder will provide technical support to the programme and support the research, development, and testing of a suite of national demand and capacity tools and resources for NHS providers.

The Demand and Capacity Programme is a joint programme between NHS England and NHS Improvement.
