NHS Improvement is the operational name for the organisation that brings together Monitor, NHS Trust Development Authority, Patient Safety, the National Reporting and Learning System, the Advancing Change team and the Intensive Support Teams.

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, task-focused Assistant Delivery & Improvement Manager to join our team on a substantive basis.

This is a key role, supporting the team in its improvement and regulatory oversight work with ten NHS trusts and foundation trusts (acute, community and mental health services) in Bristol, Bath, Gloucestershire, Swindon and Wiltshire geography. The individual will provide key operational support to the Head of Delivery & Improvement and the wider relationship team.

The successful candidate will be experienced in performance monitoring, undertaking insightful, rigorous analysis to develop an understanding of the underlying issues facing providers and the solutions available to address them. He/she will work effectively as part of the team and will have experience of project management, to support the team to deliver portfolio reviews and operational plan review work.

This is an exciting role allowing the post holder to gain experience and exposure working with senior provider staff to improve services for patients. The role is available based either in London or Taunton and will involve regular travel to meetings with providers.
