NHS Improvement is offering an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual to play an important role in the implementation and delivery of a major new regulatory activity within the trust sector, with the opportunity to drive real improvements across the country for the benefit of patients and the wider NHS.

Working with the CQC, NHS Improvement is to undertake Use of Resources assessments and propose a rating. Alongside the rating of Use of Resources, NHS Improvement has also agreed to contribute to the well-led assessments by the CQC in relation to Financial Governance.

NHS Improvement seeks to recruit a team to implement and manage Use of Resources and Financial Governance assessments. This will comprise a small group of highly- experienced and skilled staff who will provide bespoke support for the Use of Resources ratings of providers and also arrange assessments of Financial Governance for the CQC’s well-led rating.

Operating in a team environment, the Project Officer – Use of Resources and Financial Governance will provide project and administrative support within NHS Improvement’s Resources directorate. This will include providing co-ordination and structured project management to organise and co-ordinate the Use of Resources and Well-led Financial Governance assessments. In this role you will work closely with a range of other directorates to support the team in delivering the agreed milestones and delivery targets for assessments.
